We kick off the day with local talents @tresbeauparadisfiscal and @mimi____green setting the tone with playful, genre-bending energy. Things get bouncy and groovy with @fumi.xoxo , shift into experimental territory with @saint.deepthroat , and then ramp up as @zzzorza and @biia__________ bring the heat with hard-hitting sets. We close with two explosive B2Bs from the Burenhinder family: @_cam_cool x @walt.ur and @lolailegems x @myu__sa

Burenhinder is een FINTA-collectief (female, intersex, non-binair, transgender, agender), bestaande uit 7 audio en visuele artiesten. Het collectief werd opgericht met als doel FINTA-makers een podium te bieden en zo actief bij te dragen aan het doorbreken van ongelijke genderverhoudingen in de kunstwereld en de bredere eventsector.

Wat vier jaar geleden begon als een gedeelde nood aan een veilig, krachtig en divers netwerk in het nachtleven en de kunsten is intussen uitgegroeid tot een levendige samenwerking die geluid, beeld en activisme samenbrengt.

Voor Boomtown 2025 bundelt Burenhinder de krachten met het Brusselse LuCi (@luci.collective) — een collectief rond bewegend beeld bestaande uit studenten en alumni van Sint-Lukas. Samen presenteren ze een unieke audiovisuele avond waarbij film en dj/ live performance elkaar versterken.

LuCi stelt een filmprogramma samen met werk van opkomende FINTA-filmmakers. Burenhinder voorziet elk van deze films van een nieuwe live soundtrack, gecreëerd door eigen artiesten of verwante performers.

Burenhinder zorgt voor een kennismaking met elektronische muziek voor de allerkleinste, oftewel een Tiny Rave. Verwacht je aan een mini safe space waar alle zintuigen worden geprikkeld (en niet overprikkeld). Deze keer met dj waltur in een geheel nieuwe audiovisuele ervaring.

Burenhinder bundelt namelijk de krachten met het Brusselse LuCi (@luci.collective) — een collectief rond bewegend beeld bestaande uit studenten en alumni van Sint-Lukas. Zij stellen een filmprogramma samen met werk van opkomende FINTA-filmmakers. Burenhinder voorziet elk van deze films van een nieuwe live soundtrack, gecreëerd door eigen artiesten of verwante performers.

We’re beyond thrilled to share our next event with you all. Just like you, we’ve spent our days stretching out our hands, feeling the weather, counting the days until the sun arrives. Now we’re done waiting. We celebrate the return of the sun and the beginning of spring just a tad bit late, on April 11.

This celebration kicks off our residency year at Traum club. We’re so honoured and excited to finally be able to tell you all about this. We’ve been working closely with the entire team at Traum club to provide you a totalising club experience, as always, bringing our safer space and inclusivity policies with us. Traum hosts us in the former iconic Cafe d’Anvers building. Behind the scenes, there’s been transforming work to ensure that this space beautifully represents our and Traum’s values.

Next up, we present an all-star line up. Headlining the night is SALOME, producer and DJ from Tbilisi, Georgia, bringing all things techno and electro. She’s been on Burenhinder’s radar for a very long time. We can’t wait to welcome her. We’re honoured to highlight another one of our favourite artists, NVST. The Swiss artist has become famous for her experimental, boundary-pushing sets and productions. We look forward to losing ourselves in these artists’ sonic mastery. Joining SALOME and NVST on this daring sonic adventure is dj end. Founder of the new nameless venue in Antwerp (aka 09h30 - 05h30), her playful and hypnotic techno sets are a perfect match for this line up. Finally, all Burenhinder residents will play.

As always, we’re repping our safer space and harm reduction policies. We always welcome our FINTA+ and queer crowd first. We expect our community to look out for each other, but we’re always there to help.

This one is going to be special! Dress code: sun rays, brighter than the sun, blinding the entire universe!!!

Both events are all about building the perfect atmosphere for a safe(r) space and setting the mood for the whole night. This is your chance to go one step further and co-create a night.

We are so excited to be back in our favourite venue in Brussels! Spearheading this night is the queen of frogs, Kaa Glo and Ainur UNX, who run the iconic Whiskas party in Prague. After a sick night in Fuchs, Prague, we have been waiting for the perfect moment to bring them and their high energy sets to Belgium, it’s going to be a night to remember! All four burenhinder resident DJs will be playing, alongside local talent ORCZI from Poland, based in the Netherlands and Brussels based Iced Lattina. We’re already searching all streaming platforms for our favourite frog sounds, hit us up if you have a plug.

Al twee decennia delen we met gelijkgezinden onze liefde voor muziek, onze prachtige stad en opkomend talent. Burenhinder teams up with Syphen, an experimental hardcore and ambient night team up for their first collaboration. Curated with some of their favourite women and non-binary artists to showcase some of the best hardcore and noise electronics of the continent, this is not one to be missed.

These two collectives from the world's moodiest countries come together to showcase some of the best hardcore and noise electronics of the continent, the darkest clouds in the sky produce the most piercing lightning after all.

Expect a transformation of the iconic South London venue as they will be turning it into a gothic palace for these incredibly talented upcoming and established musicians.

The main chamber houses the eye of the storm. Burenhinder residents and hard dance queens Myu:sa and Lolalita make their London debut, welcomed and joined by SYPHEN residents and hardcore royalty Mvcoko b2b Klaudio and Plushb4by. At the heart of it all münki will perform a live set featuring their signature noise rap and imploding production along with White Prata making her return to London with her signature live hardware set.

At the other side of the hallway, a cavern hosts a range of creatures that will explore dripping wet, downtempo and ambient textures alongside a very special noise performance to set the mood off right. Sitting down and sliding away in the music is recommend, though not obligated. An exclusive live noise show by Ekstasis will be followed by Burenhinder resident Instar’s hypno ambience. After this, Exmantera and Astral Bandit’s sonic spells will reverberate the space, which will be closed off by the sonic ritualistic spirals by Thempress.

Oscillating between extremities, expect intense soundscapes in room 1 around the harder dance genres. In room 2, allow yourself to relax to the sounds of noise, ambient and melancholic tunes.

Coming to Prague for the first time are residents djs Lolalita, myu:sa and Instar. You could've heard mom of Burenhinder - waltur two years ago at our indoor/outdoor event.

Here on Earth the days are getting super dark and long, but in Brussels’s epicentre some solar storms are coming together to create crazy energy!

On 8 December, we are hosting our French sisters from Explity Music and could not be more excited to have them in Recyclart, our Brussels home, after a beautiful night in Paris last summer.With this party so close to the end of the year it is for us a moment to think about closings, new beginnings and returns. Aurora is happening for you, our community, to step out of the winter feelings for a night, so let’s all warm each other. (And show our prettiest colours xp)

Het all-female* ravecollectief Burenhinder ontstond begin 2021 met als doel een platform te creëren waar vrouwelijkheid* gevierd wordt aan de hand van harde elektronische muziek. Kuntsucht is een queer rave collectief gebaseerd in Gent. Ontstaan uit een grote liefde voor raves en het willen creëren van een safe(r) space voor queer personen om te feesten en zichzelf te zijn. KUNT is the concept, RAVE the imperative!

For the sixth and biggest edition so far, Full Circle unites Antwerp nightlife, music and culture in one big party. Three days of DJ sets and performances by a 100% Belgian line-up at various unexpected locations.

This one ain’t for the faint-of-heart. Burenhinder is an all-female rave collective that happily pushes the harder styles of techno, gabber and hardcore. For the special occasion, they have invited fellow ravers Stimular. You better come prepared, so stretch your legs and cancel your Saturday plans.

Please keep in mind Burenhinder, Stimular and Full Circle will create a safe space where everyone can be themselves. Self-expression should be possible without being judged by your looks, gender or ethnicity.

This year’s theme is inspired by the shimmering shells, dewy sun-glossed skin and lightweight fabrics that appeared during S/S23 fashion week in Paris, New York, London and Milan! We’re bringing nods to the underwater world this year. Think: colourful sea creatures illuminating our stages, shimmering textures, coral-like installations and a sea of shades — sand-colour ivory, soft aquamarine and eye-watering fuchsia pinks. Who’s ready to dive into our summer aquatic wonderland on August 5, 6, 12 and 13 in Zeebrugge?

In 2023, the 17th edition of Tomorrowland revolved around the mythical theme ‘Adscendo’, turning De Schorre into a magical destination high on the horizon, where the People of Tomorrow witnessed the rise of a magnificent tale in the history of Tomorrowland’s Great Library. We present you the lineup and all the infos about our party, GiB x Burenhinder x Hardcode on Sunday 28.05.23, which will take place at @menschmeierberlin ! (Monday is a regular holiday, Pfingstmontag)

First of all we would love to thank all the djs for playing and supporting this huge project<3 this will be huge!!

Second most imporant thing: the BDME @berlindancemusicevent will take place from 26-28.05 in berlin, where many of our members and artists will cover scene talks with topics like diversity in the nightlife or creating safe spaces, producer masterclasses from how to play live or create proper hardcore kicks, dj courses and many more scene relevant topics!

In view of this community event, we have also built up our party, where we have put a lot of emphasis on bringing the belgian Hardcore SCENE around BURENHiNDER in line with our Berlin Hardcore scene!

So yes, we are proud and happy to finally invite the whole crew of our belgian friends from burenhinder to berlin. We are working with them for a long time but this is our first official collab<3

Two years after their Debut Livestream recorded in the bathrooms of Kavka Zappa, the female art an rave collective Burenhinder is back, this time at Kavka Oudaan, with an installation showing what has kept them busy until now + DJ-set at the International Women’s Day event by Kavka on the 8th of March. Expo curated by Nel Samoy (Burenhinder) from the 8th until the 29th of March.

For the fifth and biggest edition so far, Full Circle unites Antwerp nightlife, music and culture in one big party. Three days of DJ sets and performances by a 100% Belgian line-up at various unexpected locations.

This one ain’t for the faint-of-heart. Burenhinder is an all-female rave collective that happily pushes the harder styles of techno, gabber and hardcore. You better come prepared, so stretch your legs and cancel your Saturday plans.

To travel to the core of something, implies a journey into that thing’s pulsing heart. We say the ‘heart of a city’ to denote that place where cultures collide most vibrantly, vitalising the city and thus creating a feedback loop in which energy flows back out to sustain the entire system.

We find ourselves today scattered all over, but reaching out, with so much energy. But where to put this excess energy, if our community often feels like not one, but many places?

Let’s imagine CORESPHERE: Burenhinder’s very first compilation release. We are so proud to present an 18 track album, with music by some of our favourite female* artists from both our local and global community.

CORESPHERE is imagined communal space. It is a virtual universe in which chimes a sound never heard together before, in which female* sonics ring loud and clear, resonating from the centre of the sun till deep into dark matter. Our hearts aflame.

Each artist on this compilation has her own unique sound. We hope that when you listen, you will receive just the energy you needed. We have been dreaming our utopia, and now we can also listen to it, together. It has always been and remains our mission to sustain our system.

TRIGGER WARNING: SEXUAL HARASSMENT

Amasse (Nooit Meer Naar Huis + Burenhinder) & Grid houden een open vergadering waar iedereen welkom is om deel te nemen aan een gesprek rond de recente gebeurtenissen omtrent seksueel grensoverschrijdend gedrag gesteld door iemand die deel uitmaakte van het collectief, de acties en aanpak van ons als organisatie en het creëren van safer spaces binnen nightlife.

Hierbij nemen we bij de start de kans om de structuur van onze organisaties uiteen te zetten (Burenhinder vervoegde recent Nooit Meer Naar Huis in de VZW Amasse) en de personen binnen onze werking meer zichtbaar te maken en voor te stellen.

Hierna staan we open voor vragen, opmerkingen en feedback over de werking van onze collectieven, en specifieker op (de aanpak van) het recente incident waarbij wij iemand uit onze organisatie zetten na melding van seksueel overschrijdend gedrag van desbetreffende persoon. We horen graag waar jullie pijnpunten zien, wat beter kan en waar dus aan gewerkt moet worden.

Tenslotte willen we eindigen met een work-in-progress draft van onze safer space guide gericht voor events. We tonen welke topics daarin zullen staan met enkele voorbeeldprocedures die wij zelf uitwerkten, maar vragen ook aan anderen—organisatoren, DJs of gewoon regular clubbers—om aan te kaarten met welke problemen zij kampen en welke methodieken zij gebruiken.

De vergadering zal in het Nederlands doorgaan.

Amasse (Nooit Meer Naar Huis + Burenhinder) & Grid organise an open meeting to invite everyone willing to join a conversation on the recent situation the collectives have encountered—a crew-member was banned because of sexually transgressive behaviour, the approach and actions of us as an organisation, and the topic of safer spaces in nightlife more generally.

At the start we will take the opportunity to display the organisational structures of the collectives (Burenhinder recently joined NMNH in the non-profit organisation called Amasse) and to introduce most of the members and their roles.

Next, we open up to questions, remarks and feedback about our organisation and its approach of the recent situation. We will be as transparent as possible and want to hear where you see problems and what could be done differently to improve.

The final part of the meeting is dedicated to proposing a work-in-progress safer space guide for nightlife and events. We’d like to show you the topics and procedures we have been working on (some of which were already put into practice), but would also like to hear your experiences, input and ideas (as an organiser, DJ or a regular clubber) on safer space policy.

The meeting will be in Dutch.

De tweede post-pandemie Kavka APART club nacht met Swan Meat, WLTR, Camilla en Burenhinder B2B. Verwacht je aan een stevige portie elektronica. Met ons eigen APART programma focussen we op ontdekking, artistieke waarde en kwaliteit over de genres en kunstvormen heen. Een reeks events op de snijlijn tussen muziek, club, film, expo en debat. Eigenzinnig, gewaagd en rebels. Altijd APART. En in dit geval: dik feest.

Het all-female* ravecollectief Burenhinder ontstond begin dit jaar met als doel een platform te creëren waar vrouwelijkheid gevierd wordt aan de hand van harde elektronische muziek.

"Het lijkt alsof alles wat vrouwelijk is lief en zacht moet zijn en dat stigma willen we met Burenhinder doorbreken", klinkt het. "Vrouwen kunnen de hoogste BPM's draaien en het grootste publiek laten stampen."

We beginnen extra vroeg en geven iedereen de kans om op een echte soundsystem te draaien met professioneel materiaal vanaf 20:00 tot 22:00. Aanmelden aan de DJ booth op de lijst. Iedere DJ krijgt 20 minuten om zich uit te leven.

Is jouw vriend of vriendin aan het slechtgaan, valt iemand je lastig of voel je je onveilig? Laat het aan ons weten. Gedurende de hele nacht zullen er herkenbare sfeerbeheerders aanwezig zijn die je altijd kunt aanspreken. Deze sfeerbeheerders zijn opgeleid door Burenhinder.

GROEF (Veduta) presents Homebound. Over the course of three weeks GROEF invites different collectives from all over Belgium to their new home in the former Ecoshop inside the Marie Thumas building.

For this evening we invite the Antwerp based womxn art and rave collective Burenhinder to the Ecoshop! focussing on providing and raising awareness for a safe space for LGBTQ+ and women in the more bass driven areas of club music. They will bring an all female driven musical program and exhibition of their own to our new home.

Het weekend van 17 en 18 juli neemt Burenhinder Kavka Oudaan over. Er loopt dan een expo met werk van hun favoriete vrouwelijke artiesten en ze spelen enkele sets om de pijn van alle gemiste feesten te verzachten.

Na de openlucht vlaggen expo van 10 kunstenaars op de Gaardeniersburg, volgt nu online een aangepast audiovisueel programma.

Grid, Ogen Toe, Burenhinder en Montage slaan de handen in elkaar en verzorgen de muzikale selectie met zes live acts die zweven tussen cultureel verantwoorde ambient en elektronica met een k.
